Secure Tenant Access

The security access system utilized at 114 West 47th Street provides tenants and their visitors' convenient, secure access to the building, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Tenants are issued access cards to enter the building through the proximity card readers located outside the main entrance of 114 West 47th Street. After-hours access privileges are determined by the tenant’s employer. During regular business hours, tenants can scan their access cards or use their Durst Office app-enabled mobile phones at the lobby turnstiles in order to gain access to their floor.

The Durst Office app can only be accessed through the tenant’s company email address. Once a tenant’s email address is provided by the tenant’s office manager and registered in the security access system, the tenant will receive a welcome email from Durst Office with their login credentials. After receiving the email address from the tenant’s company, the tenant should receive a welcome email within 24 hours.

Once the tenant successfully logs into the Durst Office, they must set up their mobile key access for mobile turnstile access using the following steps:

  1. Select ‘Yes’ during initial app launch when prompted with ‘Do you want to use mobile access for this device?
  2. If you selected ‘No’ upon initial setup, tap the ‘Mobile Key Access’ button at the top of the home screen.
  3. When prompted, select ‘Yes’ when asked ‘Do you want to use mobile access for this device?
  4. Kastle will send a 6-digit PIN to the email address registered in the Durst Office app.
  5. Enter the 6-digit PIN into the Kastle PIN prompt in ‘Mobile Key Access’. (Note: this PIN will expire after 15 minutes if not used.)
  6. Once successfully entered, your Kastle mobile access card will be displayed and ready to use.
