About 114 West 47th Street
The development of 114 West 47th Street represented a passing of the torch from the second generation of Durst family members to the third. Located on Corporate Row between Avenue of the Americas and Seventh Avenue, 114 West 47th Street was the last building constructed by brothers Seymour, Roy, and David Durst, and the first major collaboration of cousins Douglas and Jody Durst.
This strategically located building welcomes tenants and visitors alike with a dramatic backlit bioglass entrance portal, a stunning lobby rotunda, concierge desks, turnstile security, enhanced lighting, black laguna marble and mahogany finishes.
114 West 47th Street is LEED Gold certified under the LEED v4 Existing Buildings: Operations + Maintenance standard. It was the first property in New York City and the second in New York State to achieve this certification. The building was recertified LEED Gold in 2022, reflecting the company’s ongoing dedication to sustainability.
In addition to achieving LEED Gold certification, tenants are also offered comprehensive recycling facilities and encouraged to participate in The Durst Organization’s organics waste collection program for composting. Moreover, Green-e certified RECs are purchased to offset 100% of the building's electricity use.
